Working With Bruce Oldfield 👗
Hello to you all,
I have had a very interesting experience recently, i know i have kept this quiet, but i just wanted to keep this on the low, and see how things turned out. 😏
So i have had a few previous experiences with some unknown starting out fashion companies, but they just were not really for me. To be honest i did not really gain anything from them.
So i thought it may be best to try something a little different, this time i went for a more well known designer, who has his won business and had designed garments and pieces for the Royal Family, as well as Rihanna appearing in his designs. Not forgetting Tulisa Contostavlos. So i managed to secure a place with the well known Bruce Oldfield. When i heard his name being mentioned to me i had no idea who he was, until my fashion teacher explained.
That was when i knew for sure i wanted to work with his company. As it would help kick start my career into the fashion industry whilst giving me an insight into the world of fashion.
It was hard, i am not going to make up any lies or anything like that. But i felt it was worth it in the end. My work experience took place for a week, and i learnt a lot from it. That fashion comes in all shapes and forms, and that it is not always easy, i also learnt the amount of care and intricate details that have the biggest effect on others.
I forgot to mention that the Bruce Oldfiled store was located at reaching distance from Harrods, in South Kensington.
It was hard to get to, since i live in North London, so the journey was tiring and exhausting for those 5 days in the Summer of 2018, but like i said before, i felt it was all worth the effort, in the end. ❤️
